Just a very quick post today about what I’m hoping to achieve in the next 6 months. My ultimate goals are to be financially free and to live a simpler, less complicated life than I do right now.
Rather than set goals for a whole year, I just have a rough idea of what I’d like to do in the next 6 months. These aren’t set in stone – sometimes things just don’t work out or I need a bit longer or I have to change the route. I try not to do too much at once. Funnily enough, since I started being more laid back about the whole goal setting thing, I seem to have achieved more.
I’m going to carry on doing the things that work, such as budgeting, monitoring spending and saving for things like holidays in separate ‘pots’. I also want to have a big push on the decluttering, so in the next 6 months, I want to:
- De-clutter one area per week – even if it is just a bookshelf.
- Find ways to maintain a calmer, tidier home which fits in with my life.
How do you plan your goals?
Until next time, Tawney x
