Finally getting round to ebay

Hello Friends,

OH has been using ebay for ages.  We’ve had quite a few bargains, including a bed we bought for Bee for 99p.  She’s still using it.

I’ve not been very brave about using ebay up unti now.  Although I use computers a lot, I often struggle a bit with something new until I finally ‘get it’.  Bee wants to sell some of her clothes on ebay and has been asking OH to do this for her, but it doesn’t look as if he will ever get round to it.

Last weekend I finally set up ebay and Paypal accounts.  Now all I’ve got to do is try and sell Bee’s stuff.  I’ve done a bit of research, and it looks as if some of the clothes she has will sell – things from Topshop and the like.  Having gone through her bag of clothes, I think there are some that have been worn so much, they really can only go in the charity shop rag bag.

I’m a bit nervous about selling for the first time – what have your experiences of selling on ebay been?  Is it as easy as they say it is?

Until next time, Tawney x

  1. I have sold a few things and done okay with them. I tend to only sell things that can be posted as the thought of having to explain to someone how to find the house and then where to park is just too much like hard work!

I have some bits and pieces to sell and am waiting for the holidays to be over before I list them.

A couple of tips that worked for me – try and list them just before a weekend to end the following weekend (so list them say on a Thursday to end 10 days later on the Sunday); to end late afternoon/early evening and don’t have them ending on a bank holiday!

    Good luck
